数字技术的迅猛发展向老年人的社会适应能力提出了前所未有的挑战,有效弥合老年人的数字鸿沟已成为提升新时代社会福祉的重要议题。作为一项复杂的社会建构过程,老年人接受数字技术的行为深受个人认知水平与社会支持环境的交互影响。基于此,研究构建并检验了包含“认知-关系-情境”三个外部维度、以“感知-意愿-行为”为核心路径的老年人数字技术接受整合模型。通过对S市839位老年人的问卷调查与偏最小二乘结构方程模型(PLS-SEM)分析发现:在认知层面,自我效能感与技术认同是驱动老年人建构技术意义的基础,而技术畏惧主要作用于操作易用性感知,不影响其对技术根本价值的判断;在关系与情境层面,综合便利条件是影响感知有用性和感知易用性的最强预测因子,友好外部环境与人际支持网络则在意义协商中起到关键作用;老年人技术接受的核心困境在于高价值认同(M=4.50)与低操作信心(M=3.87)并存的分离特征;教育干预可以显著增强模型中自我效能感对感知易用性的作用机制。据此,建议通过搭建多层次技术支持系统、开发具身化学习活动、开发生活化课程体系等方式帮助老年人更好地融入数字社会。
Abstract:The rapid advancement of digital technology presents unprecedented challenges to the social adaptability of older adults. Effectively bridging the digital divide they encounter has emerged as a pivotal issue for enhancing social well-being in the contemporary era.The acceptance of digital technologies by older adults represents a complex social construction process, which is profoundly shaped by the dynamic interplay between their individual cognitive capacities and the socio-supportive environments in which they are situated. Building on this foundational premise, this study has formulated and empirically tested an integrated model of digital technology acceptance among older adults. This model integrates three external dimensions Cognition-Relationships-Context with Perception-Intention-Behavior serving as the central pathway.To validate this model, a questionnaire-based survey was conducted among 839 older adults residing in City S, followed by PLS-SEM. The key findings from this study are as follows:(1)Cognitive Level Insights: Self-efficacy and technology recognition as the cornerstone for older adults in constructing the meaning of technology. In contrast, technology anxiety predominantly impacts their perceived ease of use and does not exert a significant influence on their assessment of the fundamental value of technology.(2)Relational and Contextual Dimensions Insights: Facilitating conditions have emerged as the most potent predictor of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Supportive external environments and interpersonal networks play indispensable roles in the process of meaning negotiation, enabling older adults to make sense of and engage with digital technologies.(3)Core Dilemma Identification: A central dilemma in the technology acceptance process among older adults is the “cognition-affection-behavior” dissociation. This is characterized by a coexistence of high value recognition(M=4.50) and low operational confidence(M=3.87).(4)Educational interventions can significantly enhance the mechanism through which self-efficacy influences perceived ease of use within the model. In light of these findings, it is proposed to establish technical support systems, develop embodied learning activities, and create life-oriented curriculum systems to facilitate their better integration into the digital society.
